We were sick and tired of working around the clock – with very little money left over …and little to no time to really enjoy life.
Believe it or not, only a few short years ago, we were both working a crazy 7 days a week as business consultants, and feeling pretty worn out and very much “over it”.

Our search began
We tried pretty much everything. Take note, because you can learn from our mistakes and save yourself piles of money and many years of lost time.
First of all, we started learning share trading…and sure, we made some money…but it wasn’t passive. We were constantly watching the market – and getting stressed whenever our shares lost money. So we crossed that off the list.
Next, we immersed ourselves in foreign exchange trading. But we found ourselves having to stay up in the middle of the night because the market is generally most active between 11pm and 2am Australian time.
So that didn’t fit into our ideal picture either. So what next?
We then studied and researched the property market. We found a system and set a goal to buy 10 houses. And that’s exactly what we did… except the properties were all negatively geared. So when the boom slowed down, we were left working harder to cover the negative gearing short fall!
So even though on paper we were doing really well – the capital value of the properties was going up – but cashflow wise… it just wasn’t happening for us and we were further in debt.
And while all of those worked and made money, the problem
was they weren’t passive.
Now it was even harder to get out of our day jobs.
So with about six months to go to achieve our goal, Andrew came to me and said, “I've got it. We're going to do internet marketing”.
Half jokingly I said, “Oh you've got to be kidding me! Have we really sunk this low?! What do you mean, we're going to be doing internet marketing, and how? We hardly know anything about the internet!”
